I draw upon a complex range of influences within my creative practice

My work is informed by those intersections of geopolitical and environmental landscapes and institutionalised systems effecting global and social well-being. I create visual narrative proposals inviting a deeper contemplation on the intimate relationship between individual consciousness and the custodial legacies that we have inherited.

In addition to these larger conceptual frameworks, my creative spirit is also deeply enlightened by the many roles that I play in my personal life as a husband, father, apiarist, farmer, political activist and investor. These diverse experiences have given me a heightened appreciation for the importance of developing meaningful connections to place, memory, and legacy, which in turn shapes my approach to art-making.

My creative process incorporates the use of photomedia, digital technologies, video, AI, and sound as a multidisciplinary delivery.

I spent several years living in London, where I enjoyed working and collaborating with progressive minds curating and producing works that have exhibited at prestigious galleries, including the Serpentine Gallery, Tate Modern, Songzhuan Art Museum, and the Today Art Museum China. Collaborations with Peter Greenaway, Li Xiang Ting, Laurence Gartel, and Istvan Horkay have also played a major part in the way I think and approach my creative place.

Other highlights have included curatorial presentations at high-profile festivals such as the 798 Art District Summer Festival in Beijing and Art Basel.

I have also received recognition from the Australian High Commission London and The Australian Embassy Beijing for presenting successful cultural programs in the UK, Asia, and Australia. I have also held several senior art positions including Director of IDAprojects, Adjunct Professor for Creative Industries at QUT, Arts QLD and Board Member Digital Media Creative Industries at the Institute of Tech in New Delhi, India.

My art can be found in numerous collections, including KPMG, Artbank, Rhizome at the Museum of Contemporary Art in New York, and many private collections.
